My First Chance Of Exposure As An Illustrator

After seeing my illustration experiments for a childrens’ book on my old website, an author contacted me about using some of my work in his new book ‘The Big Book Of Contemporary Illustration’.

Before I got too excited, the first thing I did was search for his previously published books on Amazon to check he was legit. It all looked okay as a list of his published books on illustration popped up. I was then issued with a usage permission letter from the publisher which I signed and sent back along with digital files of my illustrations.

The book is due for publication in August this year and I’ll be updating the blog with news of any commissions generated through the exposure my work gets.

The illustrations chosen to be in the book are…

One For Sorrow, Two For Joy (collage/acrylic paint)

A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing (collage/acrylic paint)

A School Of Fish (collage/acrylic paint)
