Finally finished, here’s the latest traditional collage illustration for my ‘12 English Birds’ series – The Barn Owl.

Work In Progress: The Kingfisher
Here’s a little sneak peak at the first of a new set of 12 illustrations that I’m working on for the ‘passive income’ project – trying to incorporate some torn paper for added texture.
Should hopefully have the first 4 illos competed by the weekend ready to launch the new site next week – watch this space for more wip’s over the next few days!

‘The Dragon’ – Collage Illustration
Hot off the press – just finished this portfolio piece.
The dragon is the first in a series of ‘Mythical Beast’ collage illustrations that I’m working on for the Children’s book section of my portfolio – next up, ‘The Phoenix’.

My First Chance Of Exposure As An Illustrator
After seeing my illustration experiments for a childrens’ book on my old website, an author contacted me about using some of my work in his new book ‘The Big Book Of Contemporary Illustration’.
Before I got too excited, the first thing I did was search for his previously published books on Amazon to check he was legit. It all looked okay as a list of his published books on illustration popped up. I was then issued with a usage permission letter from the publisher which I signed and sent back along with digital files of my illustrations.
The book is due for publication in August this year and I’ll be updating the blog with news of any commissions generated through the exposure my work gets.
