Finally finished, here’s the latest traditional collage illustration for my ’12 English Birds’ series – The Barn Owl.

And for those interested, here are a couple of process pics – one of the sketch/composition along with the completed collage background prior to adding the Barn Owl.

Below is a sketch/colour study taster of the next illustration in the series – ‘The Swan’…

Here’s a little sneak peak at the first of a new set of 12 illustrations that I’m working on for the ‘passive income’ project – trying to incorporate some torn paper for added texture.

Should hopefully have the first 4 illos competed by the weekend ready to launch the new site next week – watch this space for more wip’s over the next few days!

Hot off the press – just finished this portfolio piece.

The dragon is the first in a series of ‘Mythical Beast’ collage illustrations that I’m working on for the Children’s book section of my portfolio – next up, ‘The Phoenix’.

Medium: Traditional collage with a little comping and colour correction in Photoshop CS3.

Grizzly Bear – trying out different approaches for an animal themed ‘ABC’ book I’m planning.

Combining two of my big interests – boxing and illustration (illo too big for scanner so lots of photo glare on these unfortunately – killed the colour a bit)
